How big is the Varsity's target?
The Varsity's net frame measures 5' x 5', which gives 25 square feet of mesh net. A player who misses by a foot still gets the ball back. On a team station, that keeps the line moving instead of turning every miss into a ball chase.
How far does the stand adjust and tilt?
The Varsity stands 6.5' tall and raises to 8', with four screen positions plus tilt. Lowering the screen sends the ball back low and hard, which suits ground balls and goalie bounce shots. Raising it pops the ball up for catching and passing work, so one unit covers several drills in a single practice.
Can one Varsity serve a whole team?
Yes, as a rotating station. A coach can run one group on the rebounder while assistants run another, so nobody stands around waiting for a feeder. All Ball Pro builds ball rebounders for coaches who need more reps than they have assistants, and this is the size most teams start with.
How does it move between fields?
The Varsity weighs 102 lbs and rolls on 10" spoked wheels, so you push it instead of carrying it. The stand is free-standing and collapsible, so it doesn't need a fence or a wall. That makes it easy to set up on turf, grass or a gym floor and wheel back to storage afterward.
Who is the Varsity for, and who should pick another model?
The Varsity suits high school and club coaches, and serious home players with a little room. If you're buying for one younger player in a tight yard, the 3.5' x 3.5' Stinger X Multi Sport Ball Rebounder is smaller and 26 lbs lighter. If your goalies want a wider target, or you want more net per station, the 5' x 7' Premier XL (PXL) Multi Sport Ball Rebounder is the step up.

- Assembly: follow the rebounder assembly instructions.
- Shipping: the larger units ship freight, with curbside delivery. See shipping information.
- Weather: galvanized, powder-coated steel and a UV-protected screen, rated for outdoor use.
All Ball Pro has built custom rebounders for college programs including Georgetown, Virginia Tech, UNC, USC, Michigan and RPI. Those are custom orders, not endorsements of any model.
How does the Varsity compare per square foot of net?
The Varsity carries about 4.1 lbs of unit for every square foot of net (102 lbs ÷ 25 sq ft). The Stinger X carries about 6.2 (76 ÷ 12.25), and the Premier XL about 3.8 (133 ÷ 35). Stepping up from the Stinger X to the Varsity adds 26 lbs and roughly doubles the target. For a team that will miss a lot, that trade is worth making.
